Position: Exhibition Manager
Location: Venice, The Gervasuti Foundation.
Start date: 2nd of June 2013
End date: 26th of June 2013
Job type: internship, 6 days a week.
Together with the Gervasuti Foundation, we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to assist us during our show in Venice.
This is a unique and exiting opportunity to get a first-hand experience of how an exhibition is run in the context of the Venice Biennale.
As an Exhibition Manager the intern will be working closely and be mentored by the curator and the foundation’s art director. You will be involve in a wide range of activities including assisting the curator in the setting up the show, presenting the exhibition to the public, managing the exhibition spaces during opening hours.
The ideal candidate will have to have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and to have a background in art, art history or related disciplines.
This is a not paid internship, accommodation in Venice and transportation will be offered.
