“ Fotografia se naste dintr-o experienţă a umbrei. E nevoie de intuneric si o fantă de lumină. Imaginea propulsată invers printr-o mică spărtură în întuneric este debutul fotografiei şi în acelaşi timp o metaforă a vieţii. Aşa se naşte reprezentarea care este tot una cu moartea. Captura pe un suport a imaginii este o mumificare a vieţii şi singura dovadă a existenţei ei. Tot astfel, în noua expoziţie “Waiting for the drama”, Michele ne plasează în situaţia de a aştepta o revelaţie care nu e aşteptată de nimeni. (…)” (Dan Popescu)
„Photography is born from experiencing shadow. One needs darkness and a crack of light. The image, propelled reversely through the small breach in the darkness, is the inception of photography and, at the same time, a metaphor for life. Thus is born representation, which is the same as death. Seizing the image is a mummification of life, and the only proof of its existence. As such, in his new exhibition "Waiting for the drama", Michele makes us expect a revelation that no one awaits.” (Dan Popescu)
